The Democrat’s Defalcating Dilemma

November 2nd, 2008 was one of the greatest days in American History and I was proud to see the first African American standing at the top of the political landscape and even more proud of the millions of people who voted for him when most said he could never win a Presidential campaign.

Mr. Obama road in on a wave of support for his lofty ambitions of changing the status quo and the Democrat party held tight to his ever word of change, but somewhere along the way, the party of the people abandoned Obama and left him standing alone as America plunged deeper into a well of teabag sarcasm and fear mongering which leaves the Democrat party with a defalcating dilemma….Do they now change course again and stand beside there prize candidate or do they continue to abandoned his plans for America and in turn fail the American people even more?

Perhaps the answer to this question is being answered now as we see many Democrats given up on health care reform and even others are forgoing their re-election campaigns, but why are they doing this? Why are they throwing in the towel? The answer may not be as simple as some may think, some legitimately want to move on to other things; some are afraid of losing; even others have no idea what they are doing, but to be more direct, many constituents in the Democrat party are cowards who rather tuck tail and run than stand their ground; they are the Benedict Arnolds of the 21st century who proclaim themselves Patriots but when time comes for them to stand up and fight they seek to run away leaving the American people to the enemy of poverty and despair.

I would be negligent here if I did not place some of the blame squarely on Obama. Mr. Obama is brilliant speaker and an intelligent man who will be in my opinion a great President, but his first year in office as been more pop and fizz than fired up and ready to go; for instance Mr. Obama failed at being the leader of Health Care Reform and is currently in limbo concerning many of his other policies because he approaches everything with wait and see attitude which leaves many wondering if he is capable of leading our country from the brink of destruction.

In conclusion my hope is for change in America, but change has a heavy price; one must forsake the ambitions of power and greed; one must endure the hardships that failure brings and rise up above their own liberal or conservative ideas for the overall good of America; the Republican party must stop being the party of NO and become the party of ideas while the Democrat party must stay the course and fight for the causes that matter to the American people. The Democrat party has a defalcating dilemma…they can either stand up for America or continue to fail those who voted for them.

Who has damaged Obama's Presidency more

well i can see that a lot of people wanted change. but at what costs. the health care bill put up by both houses had devastating consequences and would all but cripple our economy. instead of funding health care, stop the frivolous lawsuits and let the insurers insure and the doctors doctor. the prime minister of canada is coming here for his surgery and cancer treatments. we have the best health care in the world. people from many countries with socialized health care come here every year and pay for it rather than wait in line elsewhere. the other issues with the dems are to spend, give out money to some by taking it from others with a few hundred billion printed along the way. the easiest way to lose jobs is to tax the rich to the point they leave the country. they can only pass the costs of higher taxes to the consumer so far. then they will pull up stakes and leave.

take a look at historical photos from the former soviet union. the stores had nothing to sell, no matter how much money you had. if the rich go, so does the wonderful life we have as a nation.

i say, cut taxes, fix the spiraling lawsuit delema, and get out of the way. ingenious americans will come back strong and get the jobs back we so despartately need.
